The HKU Engineering Alumni Association recently launched the “Job Shadowing Programme 2026,” through which five engineering students undertook a five-day placement at the CEDD. During the programme, they visited the ARQ and related road improvement works, gaining valuable insights into site management and safety.

To facilitate the completion of the Anderson New Community, CEDD constructed 12 sets of pedestrian connectivity facilities in order to strengthen the linkage between Sau Mau Ping and the ARQ area, providing residents with a pleasant and convenient travel experience while promoting a low-carbon lifestyle.

Representatives from the East Development Office of CEDD, together with the engineering team, collaborated with the Hing Tin Care Team. Ahead of the Mid-Autumn Festival, they joined Legislative Council Member Mr. Tang Ka-piu, BBS, JP and Kwun Tong District Councilor Mr. Yu Shiu-lun to distribute festive supplies to residents of Hing Tin Estate.
